The Omcan 13442 Garlic Peeler
The Omcan PE-BR-0004 is a commercial garlic peeler that processes up to 66 pounds of garlic per hour with an 8-pound batch capacity, built for restaurants, catering operations, and food processors that peel large quantities of garlic daily. Instead of hand-peeling cloves one at a time or assigning a prep cook to the task for an hour, you load up to 8 pounds of unpeeled garlic, turn the machine on, and the abrasive interior strips the skins off in a continuous cycle. The peeled cloves exit through the outlet while the skins are separated and collected separately.
Stainless Steel Construction with Sealed Electrical Components
The entire unit is built from stainless steel, and the electrical components are protected inside a sealed box to keep moisture and garlic debris from causing shorts or corrosion. A water inlet (3/4 inch pipe connection) feeds water during the peeling process to flush skins and keep the chamber clean. The feeding opening at the top accepts whole heads or pre-separated cloves, and the outlet at the bottom ejects peeled garlic. The 0.25 HP (190W) motor on 110V/60Hz single phase is efficient for the workload, and the compact 13.75 by 13.4 by 21.4 inch footprint fits on a standard prep table. At 38 pounds, the unit is light enough to store when not in use.
