The Prepline PC-2460 Work Table
The Prepline PC-2460 is a 60 inch long, 24 inch deep stainless steel enclosed base work table that gives you a prep surface on top and fully closed storage underneath. That gives you a five foot run of prep surface with a full cabinet of closed storage underneath it. The worktop sits at a 36 inch working height, the same height as standard work tables and counter equipment stands, so it lines up flush with the rest of your prep row instead of leaving an awkward step in the counter line.
Type 430 Stainless Steel Construction
The top, body, and doors are all Type 430 stainless steel. Unlike painted or galvanized under-counter shelving that chips and eventually rusts where sanitizer pools, stainless holds its finish through years of daily wipe-downs. You can portion, box, and plate directly on the top, then clean it with the same sanitizer pass you give the rest of the line. The fully enclosed base keeps flour dust, grease vapor, and pests away from whatever you store inside, which is the practical difference between a cabinet and an open undershelf.
Sliding Doors That Keep Aisles Clear
The base closes with sliding doors rather than hinged ones. In a kitchen aisle that means nobody gets caught by a door swinging open into traffic, and a cook standing at the table can open one side with a fingertip while holding a pan in the other hand. Slide a door across and the full half of the cabinet is open for loading mixing bowls, cambros, or cases of dry goods.
Adjustable and Removable Shelf
Inside the cabinet, a midshelf adjusts in height so you can split the space to match what you actually store: set it high to clear stockpots and cambro containers below, or center it for two even layers of sheet pans and smallwares. The shelf lifts out entirely when you need to wash it at the pot sink or store something tall like a mixer bowl or a bag-in-box rack.
Adjustable Bullet Feet and Optional Backsplash
Four adjustable stainless steel bullet feet let you level the table on tile and quarry floors that are never quite flat, so the top will not rock while you work and the doors stay in track. If the table is going against a wall, the factory offers an optional 5 inch backsplash for the same cabinet, which keeps splatter off the wall behind a prep station.
