The Prepline PIB-STCK-20 is a 20 inch stainless steel blending shaft for Prepline's heavy-duty immersion blender power packs. It is the attachment that does the actual blending: the drive shaft, guard, and blade assembly that lock onto the 500W or 750W Prepline power pack and go into the pot. Kitchens buy shafts separately for two reasons, either to add a second length so one power pack covers both shallow saucepans and deep stock kettles, or to keep a spare on the shelf so a worn shaft never takes the soup station out of service.
