The Sealer Sales SL-808K is a steel bag tape sealer with a 5/8" throat opening for wider bag necks. Designed to close poly bags with twisted necks using 3/8 inch PVC packing tape and a built-in cutter that trims excess bag material above the seal. Up to 2,000 bags per use using only 2 inches of tape per seal.
Simple, Economical Bag Closure
The SL-808K is a simple and economical way to close poly bags with vinyl packing tape. Twist the mouth of the poly bag, slide it through the slot, and pull down: the tape wraps around the bag neck instantly and trims itself in one motion. The excess plastic bag can be cut off with a continuous downward motion passing through the built-in trimmer.
Up to 2,000 Bags Per Use with 2-Inch Tape Strips
The unit handles up to 2,000 bags per use, using only 2 inches of tape per seal. At typical bakery, produce, or retail bag-closure pace this is a full shift of work without reloading tape. The 3 inch core wheel accepts standard 3/8 inch x 180 yard PVC tape rolls.
5/8" Throat Opening
The 5/8" throat opening accommodates wider bag neck diameters typical of larger bulk bags. The wider throat lets the operator close bags that would jam the standard 3/8 inch throat.
Steel Construction
Steel construction with powder coating handles standard dry-pack environments. Pre-drilled holes on the base let the operator mount the unit on a work surface for stability. The chassis is sized for high-throughput daily use rather than occasional batch work.
No Assembly or Maintenance Required
Out of the box, the dispenser requires no assembly. Place PVC tape on the 3 inch core wheel and the unit is ready to use. The built-in cutter is replaceable as a wear part; otherwise the unit has no scheduled maintenance.

Standard 3/8 inch x 180 yard PVC tape is available in eight colors: clear, black, blue, green, red, orange, yellow, and white.
