The Serv-Ware GFR36 Glass Froster
The Serv-Ware GFR36 is a 37-inch glass and plate froster with 4.50 cubic feet of cabinet, chilling mugs, glasses, and plates to -4°F for a higher-volume bar. The wider body holds a deeper set of glassware ready to frost, and a bottom-mounted compressor keeps the whole load cold through a long, busy service.
Frosts Glasses And Plates
The cabinet runs between -4°F and 5°F, cold enough to frost beer mugs, cocktail glasses, and plates for chilled presentation across a busy bar. Forced-air cooling spreads the cold through the larger load so glassware frosts evenly front to back. The lockable sliding top seals the cold in and secures the contents when the bar is unattended.
Capacity And Racks
With 4.50 cubic feet, the GFR36 stages a larger bar's worth of frosted glassware on two shelves and a bottom rack, enough to keep a high-volume well supplied. The LED interior lamp keeps the load visible so a bartender grabs the right glass fast. The full-width sliding top opens the whole cabinet for quick access.
R290 Refrigeration
A bottom-mounted compressor cools on R290, a CFC-free hydrocarbon refrigerant, with an 866 BTU/h system driving the deep chill. The built-in condensate evaporator takes care of meltwater, so no floor drain or added plumbing is required. An automatic six-hour defrost keeps the coil clear on its own.
Build And Setup
The froster pairs a black painted steel exterior with a stainless steel interior over foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, built for a wet, busy bar and the deep cold it holds. An electronic thermostat and digital LED display keep the setting in view, and the unit arrives with wheels installed to roll into place and run from a standard 115-volt outlet.
