The Serv-Ware SG3-2 Sneeze Guard
The Serv-Ware SG3-2 is a 44-inch double-sided sneeze guard for a small self-serve island where guests reach in from both sides. Two 6 mm tempered glass panels meet in a peak over a stainless steel top, forming a tent that shields the pans from either direction. It measures 44 inches wide, 22.5 inches deep, and 20 inches tall, which suits a compact breakfast bar or an office pantry hot station that diners approach from front and back.
Double-Sided Glass Barrier
Both faces of the guard are glassed in, so a guest standing on either side of the island is covered. The twin panels angle up to a ridge and leave an open gap underneath, letting people serve themselves from each side without lifting anything out of the way. This is the layout for a free-standing station in the middle of the floor rather than one pushed against a wall.
Six-Millimeter Tempered Glass
Each face is 6 mm tempered glass, the same heavy gauge on both sides so neither panel flexes when a tray bumps it. Tempered glass wipes clear and resists the edge chips that plague thinner panes on a self-serve bar handled all day. It also stays optically clear over time instead of clouding like acrylic, so the food still looks fresh at the end of a long service.
Stainless Steel Top And Legs
A stainless steel top and posts carry the two glass panels and take spills from both directions. Stainless cleans with the same sanitizer as the rest of your service area and will not corrode where condensation gathers under a cold pan. The unit knocks down for shipping, so the frame and glass come flat and bolt together on site.
Steam Table Fit
The SG3-2 drops onto the Serv-Ware EST3-1 steam table, matching its 44-inch width so the guard frames the wells evenly on both sides. Allow for the 20-inch height when you plan guest sightlines across the island. Set in place, it turns a steam table into a two-sided self-serve station that stays protected from every approach.
