The Serv-Ware SGR-2B-24G Gas Range
The Serv-Ware SGR-2B-24G is a 36 inch commercial gas range that puts a wide 24 inch griddle next to two open burners over a full size oven, built for kitchens that live on flat-top work. Breakfast houses, diners, and bar kitchens reach for this layout because it gives the cook a big griddle for eggs and hash while still leaving burners free for a sauce pot and an oven below for the bake.
Wide Griddle for Flat Top Work
The 24 inch flat griddle is the heart of this range, a smooth steel surface big enough to run a dozen eggs, a pile of hash browns, and a row of pancakes without crowding. Because the griddle carries the breakfast load, the burners next to it never get tied up flipping flat-top items, which keeps the whole station moving during a Sunday rush.
Two Open Burners and an Oven
Two open burners sit beside the griddle for the work a flat top cannot do, like a pot of home fries, a pan of gravy, or a simmering stock. Below them, a full size oven takes a sheet pan loaded either direction with two racks across four positions, so biscuits and muffins bake off at the same station. The thermostat runs 250°F to 550°F and a U-shaped burner spreads the heat for even results across the deck.
Built for a Greasy Station
A griddle line throws a lot of grease, and the welded frame keeps the 24 inch plate flat so oil pools where you scrape it instead of running to a sagging corner. Covered pilots and burner covers keep batter and grease out of the burner flame, and the pull out crumb tray clears spillage from the burner side in one pull. Stainless front, riser, and high shelf wipe down clean at close.
Gas Supply and Setup
The range ships set for natural gas with a propane conversion kit in the box, so it installs on either supply right away. A standing pilot keeps both burners and the oven ready to light, and the gas line connects with a standard fitting. With no electrical hookup required, the unit keeps griddling through a power outage, and adjustable stainless legs level it so the griddle sheets oil evenly across its full 24 inch width.
