The Serv-Ware SGR-6B Gas Range
The Serv-Ware SGR-6B is a 36 inch commercial gas range with six open burners over a full size oven, sized to anchor a standard line section in a full service restaurant. It gives a working brigade enough live flame to hold a long row of sauces and sides while the oven below stays busy with roasts and bakes, which makes it the workhorse of a mid-volume kitchen.
Six Burner Top
Six open burners give two cooks room to work shoulder to shoulder, one running sauces on the left while the other fires saute pans on the right, with nobody waiting on an open flame. The high temperature knobs lock in with set screws so a simmer you set for a demi stays a simmer through the rush. With 12 inch square grates across the whole top, you can slide a heavy braising pan from burner to burner without lifting it over a gap.
Full Size Sheet Pan Oven
Underneath sits a full depth oven that takes a sheet pan loaded either direction, so the line bakes off trays without breaking stride. Two racks and four positions let a cook stage a roast low and proof or finish bread high in the same cavity. The thermostat dials 250°F to 550°F and a U-shaped burner pushes heat evenly across the deck, so a tray in the back corner browns at the same rate as one near the door.
Welded Frame and Easy Clean
A fully welded body keeps the wide top flat under the load of six full pots, where a bolted frame would eventually rack and let pans tilt. Covered pilots and burner covers shield the flame from spillage, so six burners keep burning instead of needing a relight when a pot boils over. The pull out crumb tray clears the drips that fall off a busy top, and stainless front, riser, and high shelf wipe clean and keep splatter off the wall.
Gas Supply and Setup
This range ships configured for natural gas with a propane conversion kit included, so it installs on either supply the moment it lands. A standing pilot holds the burners ready, the connection takes a standard gas line, and the unit needs no electrical hookup, which keeps it cooking through a power interruption. Heavy duty adjustable stainless legs let the installer level the 36 inch frame on a worn kitchen floor so every burner sits true.
