Serv-Ware SWER-24 24 In. Electric Range with Standard Oven, Four Hot Plates, 208V Single Phase

SKUSWER-24 BrandServ-Ware

The Serv-Ware SWER-24 Electric Range

The Serv-Ware SWER-24 puts a four burner electric cooktop and a full standard oven into 24 inches of line space, which makes it a practical fit for kitchens where every foot of the cook line is already spoken for. It runs on 208 volt single phase power, so an operation without a gas line, or in a building where gas service is not an option, can still put a real range on the line. Four independently controlled hot plates handle sauces, stocks, and sauté work up top while a thermostatically controlled oven underneath takes care of roasting, baking, and holding.

Four Independent Hot Plates in Two Power Ratings

The cooktop runs four separate round hot plates in a mixed wattage layout, two rated at 2.6 kW and two at 2 kW. That split matters during service. The higher output plates bring a pot of water up fast and hold a hard sear, while the 2 kW plates sit at the low end more comfortably for a hollandaise or a pot of grits that would break over a hotter element. Every plate has its own control, so nothing on the top is ganged together and you can run all four at different settings at once.

Thermostatic Static Oven, 112°F to 500°F

The oven below is a static cavity with heating elements top and bottom, run by its own thermostat across a 112°F to 500°F range. The low end is what makes it useful outside of peak cooking. Holding proofed dough, keeping a pan of dressing warm through service, or slow roasting a bone-in cut all live under 200°F, and plenty of commercial ovens will not settle down that far. Interior space measures 20.5 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 13.9 inches high, which takes half size sheet pans flat. The oven door is stainless steel with insulation inside it, so the front stays cooler to the touch than the bare sheet metal door you find on lower end units, and the oven runs on its own set of controls separate from the cooktop.

Welded Frame and a Serviceable Front

The frame is welded rather than bolted, and that is the difference between a range that stays square after a few years of being pulled out for cleaning and one that starts to rack. The front is stainless steel with galvanized sides, a reasonable trade since the sides usually sit tight against neighboring equipment. High density insulation surrounds the oven cavity to keep heat inside the box instead of radiating into the aisle. A pull-out crumb tray with an angled handle sits at the front for daily cleanup, and a kick plate along the bottom gives your service tech access without pulling the whole unit apart. Heavy duty adjustable legs let you level the range on an uneven floor and bring the cooking surface flush with the equipment beside it.
