The Standard Range SR-F4D-LP Split Pot Gas Floor Fryer
The Standard Range SR-F4D-LP is a liquid propane split pot floor fryer with two independent 39 pound tanks in a single 21 inch wide cabinet. Running on liquid propane, it brings two-oil frying to trailers, event kitchens, and rural buildings without a natural gas line. Because each tank has its own thermostat and its own pair of burners, you can run fries at one temperature and fish at another without either flavor bleeding into the other's oil.
Two Independent 39 Pound Tanks
The split pot layout is the whole reason to buy this fryer. Keep allergen-sensitive or strongly flavored items apart, hold one tank at a resting temperature during slow hours while the other stays at full frying heat, or change the oil in one pot while the other keeps serving. A shared 78 pound single tank cannot do any of that, and two separate fryers would eat up twice the floor width. Each tank comes with its own nickel plated basket, and both share the raised backsplash with a hanger plate for draining between drops.
Four Tube Burners Delivering 120,000 BTU
Four tube burners, rated at 30,000 BTU each, are split two per tank, so both pots recover quickly after a frozen load knocks the temperature down. Individual millivolt thermostats hold each tank anywhere from 200°F to 400°F, and because millivolt controls power themselves from the pilot system, the fryer needs no electrical connection at all. Connect the single 3/4 inch gas inlet and both tanks are ready to work. This model is configured for liquid propane only and is not for use with natural gas.
Cold Zones and Drains Sized for Real Oil Changes
Each pot has a generous cold zone below the burner tubes where breading settles and stops cooking, which stretches oil life in both tanks. The 1-1/4 inch full port drain valves empty each tank on its own schedule, so you can filter the fry oil Tuesday and the fish oil Friday, and the drain pipe holder inside the door keeps the fitting handy. The tanks are fully peened for smoother welds that scrub clean faster. Stainless steel covers the front and door, galvanized steel handles the sides and back, and four casters, two with brakes, roll the 192 pound fryer out for cleaning. Legs are available if you would rather set it permanently.
