The Westlake WK-SD360JY is a 49.6 in. wide ice cream display chest freezer with Low-E curved glass sliding lids, an angle top, and 3 epoxy-coated steel baskets. Customers see ice cream bars, pints, and novelties through the glass and slide a lid to serve themselves, while a freezing range of 6 °F to -14 °F keeps hard-frozen product hard. Foamed-in-place insulation maintains performance in 100 °F ambient, which covers a storefront with the door propped open in July. It is a packaged-product merchandiser: it comes with baskets, not tub holders for scooping. At 49.6 in. wide with three baskets, it gives a convenience store or concession area a real novelty selection in about four feet of floor. It is more case than a single-register kiosk needs. Low-E Curved Glass Sliding Lids with Lock

Cooling is direct. Because the cold sits low in a chest, it stays in the well when a lid slides back, unlike an upright case that loses cold air every time the door opens. The system runs on R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential and a global warming potential of 3, and it is rated at 340 W.

Powder Coated Steel Cabinet on Casters

The cabinet is steel with a powder coated painted surface, and polyurethane insulation is foamed in place inside it. That insulation is what lets the freezer maintain performance in 100 °F ambient and carry a garage ready rating as well as a commercial one. Swivel casters with brakes let you roll it out to mop or move it to the front for a promotion, then lock it in place.
