The Omcan LP5 is a countertop pasta extruder made in Italy by Avancini, designed for restaurants and specialty food shops that want to produce fresh pasta in-house. It processes up to 11 lb of pasta per hour with a cycle capacity of 4 lb, so you can run continuous batches of penne, rigatoni, spaghetti, or fresh sheets through interchangeable dies. Load your flour and liquid into the hopper, and the machine mixes and extrudes the dough through whatever nozzle shape you have installed.
Bi-Directional Mixer and Worm for Consistent Dough
The mixer and worm screw run in both rotation directions, which means the machine can reverse to clear blockages or adjust dough consistency without manual intervention. This bi-directional capability also helps achieve more uniform hydration throughout the dough, so your pasta comes out with consistent texture from the first batch to the last. The touch control panel lets you start, stop, and reverse the extrusion cycle with simple button presses, and the quiet operation makes it practical for open kitchen layouts where noise matters.
The body is stainless steel with all food-contact parts made from food-suitable materials. Moving parts remove easily for cleaning between dough types, so switching from egg pasta to semolina takes minutes. The 3.1-inch pasta sheet width accommodates standard die sizes. The LP5 is pre-arranged for the optional PRO automatic cutter (item 48674), and a multi-tier trolley (item 48678) is also available. At 9 x 19 x 12 inches and 53 lb, it fits on any standard prep counter. Includes a measuring liquid jug, die fixing wrench, and extruding pipe stopper.
