The CMA Dishmachines GL-X Undercounter Glasswasher
Underbar glass washing is the CMA Dishmachines GL-X's whole job: a 24 in. wide low temperature glasswasher that turns out 30 racks per hour on only 1.7 gallons of water per cycle, with a tall 39 in. to 40-1/8 in. cabinet that puts the door at a comfortable height for bartenders. Its built-in Hot Water Assurance System means the machine, not your building's water heater, guarantees hot water for every cycle.
Hot Water Assurance System
Many undercounter machines wash with whatever temperature reaches the tap, which drops fast when the kitchen and bar pull hot water at once. The GL-X's built-in wash tank sustainer heater keeps water at proper temperature between loads and provides continuous 130°F hot water every cycle, so the last rack of a Saturday rush washes as hot as the first. Minimum required wash temperature is 120°F.
Low Temperature Chemical Sanitizing
Sanitizing comes from the integrated chemical delivery system rather than a 180°F booster rinse, keeping energy use and installation requirements low on a simple 115 volt, 16 amp connection. Built-in chemical pumps and a deliming system assure proper chemical usage, and the pump purging system eliminates soil and chemical carryover during the rinse cycle so residue never rides onto clean stemware. The full cycle runs 120 seconds: 58 wash, 32 rinse, 30 dwell.
Stainless Steel Wash System
The GL-X is constructed entirely of stainless steel, from cabinet to chamber, and its unique spray arm system pairs upper and lower rotating stainless steel wash arms with reinforced end caps. A 1 HP pump drives 35 GPM through those arms, the 11-1/4 in. door opening handles most bar glassware, and the machine uses standard 19-3/4 in. x 19-3/4 in. racks, with one 16 compartment rack included.
Works-in-a-Drawer Servicing
All electrical components attach to a sliding drawer, so when service is needed the technician pulls the drawer forward for open access instead of dismantling the cabinet in your back bar. Instant start keeps daily operation simple, the pumped drain requires no floor drain and frees up your installation options, and 4 in. stainless steel legs come standard as a set of four.
