The Omcan 13286 (PM-IT-0080) is a heavy-duty floor model pasta extruder that produces 176 lb of fresh pasta per hour from a 110 lb tank. A dual-motor design pairs a 5.5 HP worm drive with a separate 2.5 HP paddle motor, giving the machine enough torque to handle stiff semolina doughs at full tank loads without slowing down or overheating. For operations that need continuous production beyond what a single machine can deliver, combining the 13286 with an NS TR Conveyor Belt and MS 80 Pasta Mixer pushes maximum output to 330 lb per hour. This is a special order product designed for high-volume pasta programs in commissary kitchens, large restaurants, and fresh pasta retail operations.
Dual-Motor Extrusion with Water Cooling
The 5.5 HP (4100W) worm motor drives the extrusion screw that forces dough through the die, while the 2.5 HP (1860W) paddle motor independently mixes and feeds ingredients in the tank. Separating the two functions means neither motor has to compromise between mixing and extruding, and each can be sized for its specific load. A water cooling system built into the back of the unit keeps dough temperature stable during extended runs. You connect one side to a cold water supply and the other to a drain (certified plumber required for installation), and the system circulates water around the extrusion chamber to prevent heat buildup that would cook the pasta before it reaches the die. Dies are sold separately, so you can stock the shapes your menu calls for and swap them as production needs change. A cutting assembly comes included for portioning extruded pasta to length.
